Buy a lens without a UV protector filter. I shat myself this morning when I discovered this.
It's all good. My lens is alive.
So am I.

As much as a UV filter is designed to filter... UV, it's almost given as a protector for the lens.
Glad it saved you too.
i dont get what happened... it looks like the lense has shattered... has it?
